In recent months I campaigned to be your next representative for District 1 of the School Board of Lee County.
It is important for you to be represented by someone who understands the educational process, knows the community and is informed about current issues impacting students.
During this campaign, I was available to listen to your ideas, answer your questions or speak to groups. I asked for your votes.

Although I was not elected, I was privileged to be in the company of fellow candidates along with those running for State Rep, County Commission and Judicial seats.
I wish to congratulate to Bob Chilmonik, Elinor Scricca and Steve Teuber for retaining their seats and pledge to support their efforts as we move forward, with a focus on students and education. I also congratulate all candidates who were not elected but cared enough to relinquish privacy and personal comfort to make an effort to be part of the solution to the many challenges facing our community.

To my supporters: perhaps you volunteered for a committee, put up signs, offered advice, sent a contribution or cast a vote in my favor.
For this I offer a heartfelt "thank you."
